Thursday Night Shoot and Practice Range photos posted!
News from the chair
April-2008 As the weather gets warmer and the evenings get longer we will be utilizing the outdoor range more. Now is a good time to start practicing for the upcoming 3-D events scheduled for 13-July and 21-September here at our club. The Archery Committee has done an excellent job laying out the 3-D course which should make an enjoyable day of shooting. Visit the Bay State Archers website for their scheduled 3-D shoots at other clubs during the year or refer to the archery bulletin board located in the clubhouse. February-2008 Within the past couple of months we have been in the planning stages of joining Bay State Archers for the purpose of hosting 3-D events here at our club. The purchasing of 30 new 3-D targets has been approved along with becoming a member of Bay State Archers.
3-D shoots are fun and enjoyable, and a great way for all members and their families to enjoy the sport of Archery!
If you are interested in coming involved with the logistics needed to host these events, you can contact me at any general meeting or email me utilizing this web site.January-2008

November-2007
As we move through the hunting season with bow and arrows in hand, some of us have been fortunate enough to have harvested a game animal which has been in season with their chosen tackle. If you have a photo and wish to share it with us, you can bring it to a meeting and I will have it posted on the Archery page (you can send digital photos directly to jp@mythicconsulting.com). It could be a picture of an animal you have seen, or simply one harvested.
Submitted photos should represent game taken ethically and legally, with archery tackle during the 2007 season.
Good luck, and be safe this holiday season!October-2007
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the president, vice presidents, board of directors, committee chairman and members for their support and warm welcome into this new position. There are also a few archers who have donated their time towards the archery range and hunters course who I have thanked for all of us. I addressed the members at the October general meeting and informed them of what has transpired over the past couple of weeks in regards to the archery range, hunters course and upcoming events starting with indoor shooting tentatively scheduled for Thursday evenings 6-9 p.m. starting on 11-8-07. Again thanks to all and visit this site for more upcoming events, messages and schedules.
